Riverside Middle School is NOT somewhere you want to go to school. Most of the teachers are awful! I’ve only had 3 really good teachers. That was Mrs Robbins, Mr Washington (the gym coach) and Ms Marshall. Everyone else I hated. If you do one thing wrong the entire school will know by the next day because of the teachers gossiping. Not even the kids, it’s the teachers.

If you are a "bad student" then your screwed... the teachers are very rude even if your not in their class. CINDY WOODY IS A RACIST WHO HATES BALCK PEOPLE (ex: a friend of mine was standing up and she said "David just because it's dark in here doesn't mean I can't see you!") how racist is that? Don't even get me started with April Haynes... I asked for help in class and she said ask someone else and when someone else asked the SAME QUESTION she answered him so if she doesn't like u than you will be screwed... I failed that class. The main Principle is the nicest lady you'll ever meet!! These are my thoughts on it... I f****** sucks!

I don't recommend an education here, as the academics are actually quite limited in reality, and after 3 years I have yet to learn something positive (except identifying who to stay away from since you need this skill at this school...)

School is very sexist ! Many of the teachers are disrecptful and rude. Girls get dress coded all the time. While guys are allowed to wear short shorts. I am tall and got dress coded for a dress that went a id length above my knee. While guys wear shorts all the way to their upper thigh. Many of my teachers were very rude and would not help we with my work. A good amount would also yell at me if I said something wrong. Bullying is a very big issue as well. Many kids think their allowed to say whatever they want. And make fun of others kids a lot!! Teachers always talk about the kids or judge them about what they have heard from other students. I do not recommend this school at all it is a terrible school. And I had a terrible 3 years.
The mood here at Riverside is really dread and dispair, as there's a lot of, "is school DONE YET?!"

This school strives for the best. In fact I feel that even with the right goal they are using the wrong methods to achieve the atmosphere they strive for. From my personal experience, genuine compassion and kindness will have lasting effects, unfortunately this school emphasizes on anything but genuine care and compassion. Going to riverside for 3 years of my middle school was somewhat of a regret, considering the exposure to bad influence among peers and staff whose goals are just to get over with their job and at the end of the day have attempted no effort. (Besides Mrs. Marshall :).

Also, I feel here that I am not included in the "activities" here. I doubt that calling them, "activities" is even appropriate considering that they do NOT offer enough hands-on activities. This school is founded on the wrong morals, not to mention the fact that you can never find the "right" crowd since everyone is a TERRIBLE INFLUENCE!!
