I've been to the Village at Pelham(Pelham Medical Center) several times in the past and received excellent care and superior service. I'm not sure what happened but that level of service is no more. The nurses really didn't address my problem, even after spending 6 hours in their care. The doctor seemed in a hurry and didn't take the time to even listen. My nurse in training had to reset my IV twice.

What happened to best in the upstate?

I have had all my surgeries there and I won't go to any other place. The staff and Drs are very well mannered and know what they are doing.

went in with an unknown illness and they thought i was on drugs and alcohol because i was dizzy and vomiting. I just left work at 11 am so wasn't either of those things. The doctor never came in, and the nurse said she thought it was vertigo. I went to my family doctor who was more concerned and he sent me for an MRI and i had an bleed behind my eye that was causing this issue. They were terrible and would never set foot in that place again. The doctor was a complete jerk and went strait to test her for narcotics when i told him i do not do anything like that. such a dick move

They seemed great until the 1 smart man figured out radiology forgot to send 4 X-ray's to whoever reads/looks at them. What a waste of time & people in there coughing .I don't need that. I told them So Long

Absolutely disgusted the way I was treated. I have ulcerative colitis, severe anxiety, and pancreatitis a few weeks prior & went in with a heart rate well near 150 — an obvious panic attack but the “doctor” came in, hours later, discussing my previous ER trips. First off, I know all the systems have my information & connect to each other. There was no rhyme or reason for her to talk condescendingly toward me while I was crying from discomfort. No one goes consistently to the hospital for fun & become in debt for life. She had zero compassion, amongst the other staff members who gladly share your information for all to hear and laugh and eat. I asked to go home because I was treated as a joke — probably because I don’t have health care (even though I was going to pay in FULL out of pocket) - I took my blood pressure and pulse at home. It was 200 and will see my primary doctor in the morning. Not only will I file a complaint but never recommended anyone go to this facility. As I was dizzy, walking out, there was a poor man throwing up outside and they didn’t even help him. Disgraceful and inhuman.
